Buyer Lens is a monthly subscription briefing written for founders in the 12 to 24 month window before a transition, who want a structured read of buyer-side thinking on the topics that affect their transaction.
What you get
Once a month, a long-form briefing covering: current comp data in your sector (synthesized from Pratt’s Stats, the Capstone index, and Cordis Institute’s deal-flow learnings), buyer-side activity in your sector (who is buying, what they are paying for, what is changing), and one in-depth analysis on a topic relevant to active sellers (working capital negotiations, indemnification structures, earnout design, the QofE process, customer-reference call management).
Quarterly, a longer report on the buyer-side analytical framework for a specific operational topic (key-person dependency, recurring revenue conversion, decision-rights legibility, documentation programs).
Twice a year, an off-the-record briefing call with Cordis Group senior partners, where members can ask questions that are not appropriate to write down.
Why “by application”
Buyer Lens is written for active sellers. The briefings reference comp data and buyer-side patterns that are most useful to founders within 24 months of a transition. Founders earlier in their thinking are better served by the free Foundry publication, the Misalignment Tax monograph, and the Scorecard. The application is not a gate. It is sequencing, for both sides.
Pricing
$97 monthly, billed annually at $1,164. We do not offer a discount for annual prepayment; the price reflects the cost of the work.
When it opens
Applications open quarterly. The next opening is October 2026. Expressing interest now places you on the list for that opening; we will write to you in September 2026 with the application details.
