Summit is the annual in-person gathering, structured deliberately on the Berkshire annual meeting model. Two days, one venue, no panels.
What it is
A small invitation-only gathering of Foundry readers, Cordis clients past and current, and a short list of invited operators. Two days of structured conversation, two formal sessions per day, with the rest of the time deliberately unscheduled to let the conversations happen organically.
The formal sessions are conducted in the round, not from a stage. There are no panels. There are no decks. There are no sponsors. There is no agenda beyond the four sessions.
Why no panels
Panels produce predictable answers to predictable questions. The unscheduled time is where the real conversations happen, and the formal sessions are designed to make the unscheduled time more useful, not to replace it.
Why “by invitation”
The room dynamics depend on the people in the room. Invitations are issued to roughly 80 to 100 people, balanced across operators, investors, advisors, and a small number of academics or journalists whose work has shown up in Foundry.
When
The first Summit is planned for 2027. Express interest below; we will write to you in early 2027 with details and timing.
