Summit is the yearly in-person gathering. It is built on purpose along the lines of the Berkshire annual meeting. Two days, one venue, no panels.
What it is
A small invitation-only gathering of Foundry readers, current and past Cordis clients, and a short list of invited operators. Two days of guided conversation, two formal sessions a day. The rest of the time is left open on purpose, so conversations can happen on their own.
The formal sessions are held in the round, not from a stage. No panels. No decks. No sponsors. No agenda beyond the four sessions.
Why no panels
Panels give predictable answers to predictable questions. The open time is where the real conversations happen. The formal sessions are meant to make that open time more useful, not to replace it.
Why “by invitation”
The feel of the room depends on who is in it. Invitations go to roughly 80 to 100 people, balanced across operators, investors, advisors, and a few academics or journalists whose work has appeared in Foundry.
When
The first Summit is planned for 2027. Raise your hand below. We will write to you in early 2027 with details and timing.
