The short version
Foundry collects the minimum data required to operate the publication. We do not sell, share, or rent that data. We use privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible) that do not set cookies and do not track individual readers across the web.
What we collect
- Subscriber email addresses, when you subscribe to the publication. Stored by our email service provider. Used only to deliver Foundry pieces. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Form submissions, when you contact us, request an MRI intake, express interest in a gated product, or submit a contact form. Used only to respond to your request. Stored as long as needed to complete the response and any follow-up; we do not retain inactive inquiries indefinitely.
- Aggregate analytics, via Plausible Analytics. Plausible collects no personal information. It records the URL of pages viewed, the referrer, the browser type and country (no IP address is stored), and the screen size. This data is used to understand which pieces are being read and to improve the publication.
What we do not do
- We do not set advertising cookies.
- We do not run third-party tracking pixels or social network buttons that track you.
- We do not sell, share, or rent subscriber data to any third party.
- We do not retarget readers via advertising networks.
How long we keep things
Subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe. Form submissions are kept as long as needed to complete our response and any follow-up; for MRI intakes and Cordis Group or Private Client inquiries, this may extend to the duration of any subsequent engagement. Analytics data is aggregate and is not tied to individual readers.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to delete your data. Email via our contact form; we will confirm the deletion within 30 days.
Changes to this page
If we change this policy materially, we will note the change at the top of this page and (for subscribers) in the next regular Foundry email.
